Overview
By Invitation Only is a Masterclass Acting Workshop in Mexico City, where actors are paired and assigned scenes to study and perform.
Under the guidance of renowned acting coach Ivana Chubbuck, participants receive personalized feedback and hands-on coaching to refine their craft.
The workshop concludes with an Industry Day, featuring discussions with internationally recognized producers, directors, agents and casting directors, providing practical advice and networking opportunities for career growth across boarders.
16-18 actors will be chosen to participate in the Scene Study, a limited number to ensure an intimate workshop experience. Selected participants will be handpicked, to ensure that the group will leverage on each of the members unique characteristics. A mix of emerging and rising stars are selected
Schedule
Scene Study Dates (Friday + Saturday):
Selected actors are paired and assigned scenes chosen by Ivana Chubbuck based on actors’ characteristics to highlight their individual strengths.
• Day 1 – Actors perform their initial interpretation. Ivana provides tailored feedback to refine character, emotion, and delivery.
• Day 2 – Actors revisit scenes, applying Ivana’s notes to demonstrate growth and adaptability.
Industry Day (Sunday):
Panel Discussions
• A full day of interactive discussions focused on practical, step-by-step guidance for industry success
• Led by industry experts including producers, agents, showrunners, and casting directors
• Expected attendees 100-150 people
• Networking reception to follow
Our Acting Coach
Ivana Chubbuck is the founder and director of the Ivana Chubbuck Studio and creator of the cutting edge and widely adopted Chubbuck Technique, which has been used in Oscar winning and nominated performances. She has developed her own ’12 Step Technique’ which she outlines in her bestselling book The Power of the Actor. She works closely with directors and screenwriters helping them dive deeper into their process and how to work alongside actors.
